How can you provide nutritional enrichment for your pet?

Hay Variety

Eating a mix of hays allows pets to experience a multitude of taste and textures, helping prevent picky eating down the road.

Fresh Greens

Fresh greens are a great source of daily nutritional enrichment. Green provide important vitamins and minerals, in addition to helping keep your pets hydrated. As a general guideline, fresh greens should make up about 8% of a herbivore’s diet, depending on the species.

Treats

Treats are great for encouraging interaction between owner and pet, but they should only be offered in small amounts. Limit treats to no more than 2% of your pet’s daily diet.
