General Gerbil Information

Picking up a gerbil by the tail can result in serious injury. Always scoop him up gently around the abdomen.

Treats should make up less than 5% of your gerbil’s daily diet.

Unlike some small herbivores that are nocturnal, gerbils are awake during the day.

When selecting your pet, make sure to ask if the gerbil is male or female. They reproduce quickly!
