The Addison County Humane Society

The Addison County Humane Society promotes the ethical treatment of and the prevention of cruelty to all domestic animals and forms of wildlife. We seek to improve relationships between animals and people, foster the greatest possible understanding of the needs and proper care of all animals, provide a safe haven for the domestic animals in Addison County, strive towards a 100% adoption rate for placeable animals brought to the shelter, and serve as a source of information and as an educational resource for animal welfare throughout the county.

Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Inc.

The mission of the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Inc. is to promote animal welfare, to encourage and strengthen the human/animal bond, and to prevent the overpopulation of pets. The primary goals of the ARL include the adoption of animals into permanent, loving homes, promotion of spaying and neutering to reduce and prevent pet overpopulation, and education programs to teach kindness and the importance of the human/animal bond.

The Bunny Bunch

The mission of the Bunny Bunch is to educate people about the proper care of rabbits and other small animals. They strive for better city and county shelter living conditions for rabbits and other animals while in their care. They work to stress the importance of spay and neuter to help stop overpopulation and to educate more veterinarians about exotics.

Catnap From the Heart, Inc.

Catnap From the Heart, Inc. is a nonprofit animal shelter dedicated to the adoption of abandoned or unwanted cats, kittens, birds and small mammals and providing food, shelter and comfort to the animals entrusted to our care while finding them a loving and caring home. We stress to the community the importance of spaying and neutering, keeping animals as indoor companions and teaching others responsible pet ownership and general animal care. We are a no-kill facility. We are dedicated to showing respect to all and maintaining a clean and healthy facility.

The mission of SPCA Tampa Bay is to protect and shelter the sick, injured, homeless, and unwanted animals. Wildlife Medical Clinic

The mission of the Wildlife Medical Clinic is threefold: to provide care and treatment to sick, injured, or orphaned wild animals to the point where they can be returned to the wild; to provide hands-on training to veterinary students; and through our public education program, to teach the members of our community about the environment in which they live and the wildlife they share it with.
