Murdock, NE, November 23, 2011 -- Oxbow Animal Health held the fall Exotic Companion Mammal Symposium on November 20th at Dr. Robert Ness’s Exotic Wellness Center in Lisle, Illinois. The continuing education event centered on exotic pet health and nutrition and featured lectures by Drs. Robert Ness and Micah Kohles, with Dr. Peter Fisher serving as the day’s keynote speaker. The crowd at the sold out event listened to lectures covering topics including: Rabbit Gastrointestinal Function and Nutrition, Exotic Mammal Dental Disease, Cytology in Exotic Mammal Medicine, Ferret Gastrointestinal Function and Nutrition, Exotic Mammal Gastrointestinal Disease, Peri-operative Care of the Exotic Mammal, Exotic Mammal Surgery: the Common and Uncommon, and Holistic Support for GI Disease in Rabbits and Rodents.
