Murdock, NE, August 8, 2011 -- Oxbow Animal Health has named Dr. Gregory Rich as the winner of the 2011 Oxbow Exotic Mammal Health Award. Established in 2009, the Oxbow Exotic Mammal Health Award is an annual award presented to an animal health professional who advances the field of exotic mammal medicine and care.  Dr. Rich, a veterinarian specializing in exotic animal medicine in Metairie, Louisiana, was presented with the award at the 2011 AAV/AEMV/ARAV Conference in Seattle, Washington on August 7th, followed by a reception in his honor.

Murdock, NE, May 19, 2011 -- Oxbow Animal Health, a leader in the innovative care and nutrition of small and exotic animals worldwide, has announced the recipients of its 2011 Academic Scholarships. This year, Oxbow will award $3,500 to five outstanding individuals pursuing education in the exotic and companion animal veterinary fields.

Murdock, NE, March 15, 2011 -- Oxbow Animal Health has announced the hiring of Alicia Armentrout as Education Coordinator. Some of the key responsibilities of Oxbow’s Education Coordinator include: coordinating Oxbow’s Junior Vet Camp; training camp counselors and serving as a liaison between Oxbow and host facilities; ongoing development of activities and educational curriculum for camp, website, and Animals in the Classroom; coordinating and supporting the various educational programs of the Oxbow Marketing department; and assisting with internal staff education and orientation.

Murdock, NE, March 07, 2011 -- Oxbow Animal Health has announced the hiring of Stephanie Stedman as Veterinary Account Manager. Stephanie comes to Oxbow with over 10 years of experience in animal health distribution for both large and companion animal markets.

Dr. Capello, a veterinarian specializing in exotic animal medicine in Milan, Italy, was presented with the award at the 2010 AAV/AEMV Conference in San Diego, California on August 1st, followed by a reception in his honor on August 3rd.
